Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of small angle rotation traction pushing bone setting manipulation in the treatment of teenagers with abnormal cervical physiological curvature. Methods A total of 81 teenagers patients with abnormal cervical curvature in Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 41 cases in the treatment group and 40 cases in the control group. The control group was only treated with functional exercise, and the treatment group was treated with small angle rotation traction pushing bone setting manipulation combined with functional exercise based on the control group. The course of treatment was four weeks in both groups. Before and after treatment, the arc-chord distance of cervical curvature, visual analogue scale (VAS) score, and neck disability index (NDI) were measured and statistically analyzed in the two groups, and the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine was compared between the two groups. Results During the study, one case dropped out of the treatment group. After treatment, the arc-chord distance of cervical curvature in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those of treatment group were higher than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, VAS score and NDI of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of small angle rotation traction pushing bone setting manipulation in the treatment of abnormal cervical physiological curvature in teenagers is obvious, which can alleviate the abnormal cervical physiological curvature in teenagers. |
