Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction in the adjuvant treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Methods A total of 110 GERD patients admitted to Changzhi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shanxi Province from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected and they were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine. On the basis of the control group, the observation group was treated with Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction. Both groups were treated for ten days as a course of treatment. After three courses of treatment, clinical efficacy, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, esophageal dynamics index, gastrointestinal hormone index, and treatment safety of patients in both groups were evaluated. Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of heartburn and acid reflux, gastric distension and depression, belching and early satiety, undereating and poor appetite in two groups were lower than before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the esophageal sphincter pressure, lower esophageal sphincter pressure and esophageal peristalsis velocity of the two groups were higher than before treatment, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, motilin and gastric inhibitory polypeptide in two groups were higher than before treatment, and vasoactive intestinal peptide was lower than before treatment, and motilin and gastric inhibitory polypeptide in observation group were higher than control group, and vasoactive intestinal peptide was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, motilin and enterogastatin in two groups were higher than before treatment, and vasoactive intestinal peptide was lower than before treatment, and motilin and gastric inhibitory polypeptide in observation group were higher than control group, and vasoactive intestinal peptide was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The addition and reduction of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction in the treatment of GERD has a good therapeutic effect, which can reduce the main traditional Chinese medicine syndroms of patients, improve esophageal motility, adjust gastrointestinal hormone levels, and has a good therapeutic safety. |
